Client Organizers
Client Organizers provide Hillcrest Tax Clients, with
relatively complex tax returns, a convenient booklet with blanks and questions to
help organize data for the preparation of their tax returns. Prior clients with businesses and/or rentals
are sent organizers routinely with the prior year data entered for easy
comparison. Other clients may download
the generic Organizers below.
In addition to filling out the forms, please provide the
following information:

A
copy of your prior-year tax return (if not prepared by Hillcrest Tax).

Any
forms W-2 (wages and pensions).

Forms
1099 (dividends, interest, miscellaneous income).

Schedule
K-1’s (partnerships, S Corporations).

Forms
1098 (mortgage interest statements) and property tax statements.

Brokerage
statements from investment transactions.
If you have many stock transactions please call us for a special input
program to capture transaction history.

Closing
statements relating to real estate transactions (the “Settlement Sheet”).

All
other supporting documents.

Any
tax notices received from the IRS or other taxing authorities.
The Organizers are downloaded as Adobe Acrobat .pdf
files. Download the Adobe Acrobat Reader
if necessary. These are large files so
allow plenty of time for the downloads.
